As an accountant, I am all for finding ways to be more efficient with our spending - it is definitely a problem.

But the problem with how this is spoken about in our political landscape is that whenever the words "cut spending" are uttered, it's almost always with the context that Democrats spend a lot and waste taxpayer money

When Republicans waste billions of dollars as well, or said another way, it's a US government problem, agnostic of party affiliation. Just a quick look under the hood at our defense budget will show this.

It's an institutional problem
I don’t care which side of the aisle you sit on. It’s gross mismanagement, and the default to anything new is always that we have to find more tax dollars. Can’t stand that thinking.

President Biden was overheard saying Vice President Kamala Harris is "not as strong as me" during a conversation with former President Obama at Ethel Kennedy's funeral. The exchange, translated by a lip reader, occurred as they discussed the upcoming election. Obama agreed with Biden, adding, "We have time" for improvements.

Democratic sources appear divided on the implications of the comments, with some concerned about Harris's viability as a candidate against Donald Trump. Harris, who replaced Biden as the Democratic nominee, has seen her polling decline in critical swing states. Biden initially resisted stepping down but eventually endorsed Harris amid pressure from party members.

Well most others were saying it was a done deal and couldn't be done as the primaries had been won. Am I getting criticised for getting it right. 🤷‍♂️
Not one person said the Democrats couldn't pick another nominee if Biden dropped out.
Nobody.
What everyone said was that it was too late for him to be challenged.
Yet, there you were and here you are again saying you got it right.
All you're doing is making your self look dafter.

hang on a sec.
Trumps VP wont endorse him.
40 of his 44 cabinet appointments wont endorse him
His chair of the joint chiefs of staff called him a fascist.

But sure, lets focus on Biden thinking he's a stronger candidate than Harris.
He's hardly gonna say he's weaker. I'm not sure you get the size of ego needed to want that job.

I'm pretty sure Obama and Biden will still vote for Harris.
