Holtby looks to be a very good signing and Spurs have admitted they beat a lot of other clubs (possibly including Everton) to sign him. He could push them on.
Arsenal possibly only moved for Monreal because of Gibbs' injury.
Liverpool may well be stronger but they've only had one striker for most of the season.
Chelsea are always going to be in a different league to us.
Clubs aren't throwing money around chasing Champions League football. If we can't get the players that we want in this window we're better off saving the funds and trying again in the summer rather than panic buying whoever is available.
Give over.
Neville is the most out of place footballer in our starting eleven. He's a right back who is played in central midfield every game, even if he was playing a blinder every match we should be looking to replace him.
your right there, soon find out renewal time is around the corner, its going to be moyes is staying, to buck the sales up, more than likely with a rumour of investment, if its quite you know he will be off,It may be true about moyes being off, but you would have expected kenwright to have given every last penny to Moyes to try and get him to stay. Moyes has deflected alot of attention away from kenwright.
A lot of our best players are the equivalent of a "Barnsley player" - and moyes got the best out of him. Liverpool have bought a lot of rated players who have turned out to be ****e for them.
Don't see how anybody else can be happy with that, honestly.
It wouldn't have been so bad if the whole Fer saga hadn't happened. We all expected a loan or maybe a cheap signing at best, but as soon as the word was out that we had cash (and a relatively large amount) to spend, all hell broke loose.
Embarrassing that a club who claims to be aiming to improve and win things doesn't have the wherewithal to buy a SINGLE player who can strengthen our first eleven.
4th would have been a possibility if we'd signed a Fer type player, it's going to be extremely difficult now.
You said no more than five hours ago he was a better bet at RB than Jagielka.
Lol.
Make your mind up.
I hope someone tells "Fizzer18" to stay off twitter for a day or so. I think if he starts tweeting about not needing anyone it might be the straw that broke the camel's back.
Dont forget the 25,000 idiots who will happily hand over there money next month to renew their season tickets.
They get what they deserve.
I know its up for debate but personally, the way it ended up we should of took the risk on Fer. Even a risk on putting a bit of a bigger bid in for Negredo. Its sad but we've got to go on. One thing also, is the loan window opening next week? Thought i heard something like that on SSN.
Can't understand us letting Gueye leave without a first team player coming in... surly there is someone sorted that we haev heard nothing about.... surly.... has to be.... right?
