disgraceful by the board but did we expect any less? like others have said you get the club you deserve and sadly too many evertonians have been brainwashed by that snake kenwright, I recieved heckles and a warning for calling evertonians clowns yesterday but maybe now people will take a step back and see maybe thats what we as a fanbase are for letting this same crap happen time after time, and what will it take for it to stop and for us to finally stand up united?

moyes going?
relegation?
financial ruin?
ian f'in dowie taking us on?

We had a great chance with the BU to take down the board and bring about real change but the fanbase turned their back on supporters who have probably invested a hell of a lot more into the club than any of our board members have done. disgraceful when did Bill Kenwright become bigger than Everton Football Club? I feel sorry for Moyes, the players and the fans that know what is going on around them yet still have a glimmer of hope.

Holtby looks to be a very good signing and Spurs have admitted they beat a lot of other clubs (possibly including Everton) to sign him. He could push them on.

Arsenal possibly only moved for Monreal because of Gibbs' injury.

Liverpool may well be stronger but they've only had one striker for most of the season.

Chelsea are always going to be in a different league to us.

Clubs aren't throwing money around chasing Champions League football. If we can't get the players that we want in this window we're better off saving the funds and trying again in the summer rather than panic buying whoever is available.

Mate, we're one point from 4th with over half the season gone, still in the cup too, chances like this dont come a long very often. Add the fact moyes hasnt signed his contract and fellaini has stated he's off wif we dont get CL. Its a disaster.

Give over.

Neville is the most out of place footballer in our starting eleven. He's a right back who is played in central midfield every game, even if he was playing a blinder every match we should be looking to replace him.

And who plays him there?

More annoyed at Moyes lack of faith in Barkley, otherwise he has next to no choice with Gibson being crocked most weekends.

I know its up for debate but personally, the way it ended up we should of took the risk on Fer. Even a risk on putting a bit of a bigger bid in for Negredo. Its sad but we've got to go on. One thing also, is the loan window opening next week? Thought i heard something like that on SSN.

I hope someone tells "Fizzer18" to stay off twitter for a day or so. I think if he starts tweeting about not needing anyone it might be the straw that broke the camel's back.

It may be true about moyes being off, but you would have expected kenwright to have given every last penny to Moyes to try and get him to stay. Moyes has deflected alot of attention away from kenwright.
your right there, soon find out renewal time is around the corner, its going to be moyes is staying, to buck the sales up, more than likely with a rumour of investment, if its quite you know he will be off,

A lot of our best players are the equivalent of a "Barnsley player" - and moyes got the best out of him. Liverpool have bought a lot of rated players who have turned out to be ****e for them.

neville is the only player of that or under equvivilant. even naismith is above barnsley level. no offence to the kid, but how can we look forward to his signing? we've actually weakened ourselves in this window by letting gueye go out. Don't see how that deal has helped us.

barkley will be back soon, getting no time on our bench instead of getting valuable experience on loan. personally think we should have taken the risk on fer. Could have been the difference between 4th and not.

piss poor how we've had since august to line up a centre mid and more recently a striker

PISS POOR

Don't see how anybody else can be happy with that, honestly.

It wouldn't have been so bad if the whole Fer saga hadn't happened. We all expected a loan or maybe a cheap signing at best, but as soon as the word was out that we had cash (and a relatively large amount) to spend, all hell broke loose.

Embarrassing that a club who claims to be aiming to improve and win things doesn't have the wherewithal to buy a SINGLE player who can strengthen our first eleven.

4th would have been a possibility if we'd signed a Fer type player, it's going to be extremely difficult now.

Absolutely bang on the money, sir.

The inability to build on our momentum is criminal. The fact we HAVE done well this season so far is the reason I - and I'd assume a fair few - are annoyed with this window. No strengthening to our first 11, and our squad itself is no larger with Gueye going out.

Very, very frustrating. If we fail to finish 4th then we will quite justifiably point to this window as a key factor.

Oh, and a note for those who enjoy a good straw man: I'm not saying I EXPECT us to finish 4th. It's just our hopes we have of finishing there have taken a real hit with the lack of any real strengthening to our squad. For a side who obviously had some sort of money to spend, and are only a point off 4th, to not go all out to strengthen with what we did have is very poor. The very fact we are in and around the top 4, 5, 6 is an attraction in itself.

Can't help but feel very disappointed and frustrated at how we're simply not progressing when the opportunity is seemingly there. All we can hope is, as I say, our squad disproportionately outperforms the better squads of rivals.

You said no more than five hours ago he was a better bet at RB than Jagielka.

Lol.

Make your mind up.

Explain to me how what i just said contradicts the viewpoint that Jagielka is an inferior choice ?

Stones is a better backup to Coleman at RB than Jagielka. That doesn't mean Stones should be starting ahead of Coleman.

Go and troll somewhere else.

we were never going to have enough for negredo, the fact we had no other strikers lined up was scandelous though. i think the loan window is just for football league teams outside prem.

did anyone else see why tried to get scott dann on loan with a view to buy. another masterclass of an attempted signing
