Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Brett Angell Delight

Player Valuation: £60m
The transfer window opens on Thursday, June 12th - Exactly 100 days from now.

This is the one, guys. The one we've been waiting for. I'm talking £100m+ NET spend, NO recurring Jack Harrison loans, NO Gnonto links, NO perma crocks, SOME PSR diddles.

As for much needed squad building, my money is on:

Backup GK (as is tradition)
RB
LB
CB
CM
RW
ST

+ Charly perm and I have faith Lindstrom will come good and get snapped up and all.

And many, MANY more.

Let's get this party started.

The retension list of those out of contract will be of considerable importance. I am for a clean the decks approach however not so sure that's what Moyes is thinking.

Keeping players who,s legs go or loose intrest after a new contract extension can be a very problematic.

Ready for the for when Soucek and Coufal sign..........

Even though, they are both decent players and prob costy nothing!!!

Almost in total agreement Brett but I'm not sure that Lindstrom has done enough to justify a £20 million ( or is it Euros?) price tag . But he still has chances to prove his worth.

I'd take a punt on Charly at the rumoured fee.

I'd keep Gana. I wouldn't keep Doucoure but I think Moyes will and I ( just ) understand why.

I wouldn't take a chance on Broja nor try to persuade DCL to stay. Love Seamus but it's time for him and Young to retire.

Keane must be history.

Exciting times ahead.

Surprised TFG haven't appointed a CEO ( Kinnear? Meh ) or a new DoF.

I have a soft spot for Lindstrom and really like the things he's done when I have watched him under DM. I know it's a very Dyche thing to say, but if attackers had finished a couple of the chances he's created, and he had some stats to go with his overall play, £20m would seem like a no-brainer in today's market. I have faith in him getting some numbers on the board by the end of the season, but if he doesn't I fully understand if we want to send him back.

Agreed on all the rest!
