We have been hopeless on the right without Coleman this season - IF the new lad can slot in and we have the option to move Seamus into right midfield and we dont have to play Jags at right back.

There are some positions you can throw an inexperienced 18 year old kid in. Full back isnt one of them. Jags has played for England at right back, we both know who Moyes would choose anyway.

Did anyone see the thumb man on SSN earlier haha

seamus is pretty average at RM tbh. suppose it could be another option, but i really don't see moyes trusting an 18 year old at RB

Mate, we're one point from 4th with over half the season gone, still in the cup too, chances like this dont come a long very often. Add the fact moyes hasnt signed his contract and fellaini has stated he's off wif we dont get CL. Its a disaster.

As with Negredo, it sounds as if clubs are asking for crazy money. Players that were affordable and available probably wouldn't have got into our team. Moyes will have the money to spend in the summer. Fellaini will leave when the time is right and could still go even if we do get CL. I'm sure we've made enquiries but it just hasn't happened. We've done the sensible thing.

Not that money flying around when we end up making the 3rd highest transfer day deal - £3M on a promising 18 year old - only Graham to Sunderland and Samba to those idiots in West London being greater (obviously Balotelli but he's left the PL).

If we had 14m euros why did we leave it till the last few days? We never had anything near that amount. Moyes (if hes still here) will have about half the fellaini money to spend.

We'll likely be linked with numerous free agents in the next few days. Hardly likely to make a difference to the squad.

Owen Hargreaves is still without a club isnt he? He's a central midfielder.

That French fella Sunderland have just released would be a decent back up striker and all.
