2013 January Transfer Window Thread

Not being funny but the lads saying oh we will still get fourth, we signed a promising young RB which is a good transfer window are the ones who would probably lead the line of abuse if we lost to villa this weekend.

I defended the club all day today, gave them every chance to live up to my rather modest expectations, to strengthen the squad in midfield or up front by purchasing ONE player to strengthen the team.

Even a loan, a striker to come in and make an impact until May, would have been decent. But not a single signing with the potential to come straight into out first eleven ?

Poor, really poor.

You did mate, You defended them all day across the entire board. You did because you put your faith and trust in the club to do the right thing. I know how that feels because like you I carried the torch but then I realized the HARD WAY that under this owner that trust and faith amounted to nothing.

So here we are...it,s the end of the day and now you,ve seen things differently. Imagine for one moment how Moyes must feel that the club in his hour of need shafted him and now he has to face his tired players in the morning.

I hope the players win the cup for Moyes and say that in public.

Very disappointing outcome. When the first 11 are fit we are a match for anyone but we needed that extra bit of quality to really have a go this season. We look so less effective when Naismith and Neville are in midfield. Fer would have been an excellent addition so it is very frustrating. This was a pivotal window, not just for this season but perhaps long term too. I just hope we havn't made a huge mistake.
