No ambition mate, no ambition whatsoever. It could prove to be a great opportunity missed ........personally I think we have to just take a gamble on Fer I mean the lad didn't do his cruciate or anything like that he was only out a couple of months, and don't the insurance cover us in case of career ending injuries anyway.

Its left us all on bad downer and I include the players in that as they have all been saying we need fresh blood to reinvigorate a tired squad.

Fully agree. I would have took a gamble too. The lad is a class player and exactly what we needed and in this game a player could have their leg shattered at any point even with a 100% clean bill of health previously. Naismiths knees are shot and to be honest it sort of shows in his play unfortunately yet as he was free he is acceptable yet an exciting Dutch international isn't I also feel sorry for the lad too. Imagine thinking you where on your way to a club only to have your hopes dashed due to a recent injury that was healing. Very sad state of affairs.

The club tried to keep expectation low. Maybe they could have kept the Fer deal under wraps but it probably would have leaked out from the Twente end anyway. We carry on with what we've got and hopefully we pick up the likes of Fer and Donovan again later in the year when we can get better terms.
