is right, and still the cup, think the size of are squad will tell in the run in but heres hoping, midfielder would have been nice tho

Even somebody like Gueye who isn't cut out for the Prem could have played a part against Oldham, now that's another first eleven player who will have to stay in the team for that.

We're stretching an already thin squad.

We had £8.4m to spend apparently, £3m of which (at a stretch, because the initial fee is nowhere near that) has gone on this Stones fella.

I find it hard to believe that with £5m to play with the club could not have drafted in even a short term loan deal that could have done a job in central midfield.

The fact is the club were happy to inform everybody that we had money to spend, but then when it came down to it they failed to actually do so, while all of our competitors for 4th did just that.

Im failing to be amazed with anything any of our rivals signed if I'm honest mate, besides we've been playing with Gibbo and Belgian Kev missing for the season and shown amazing consistency. Not a fan of the jan window anyway, but seemed the moons alligened with Fer, if he's that ace I'd prefer to wait till the summer rather then get a Castillo or the like in.

Ill be honest, I love watching us play, weve a great squad and am confident against anyone, as I say we lost three games all season and I expect us to kick on!

never liked him brennan, but i think the team have looked a bit jaded lately, a few injurys and it could tell in the long run , its a hard run in and there are some big teams left in the cup so fingers crossed, if i was a betting man id say the odds are agaist us, but you never know

So,we did not get Leroy Fer (who no fekker had heard of up until Monday) the wonder kid Dutch International . Yet half of us have been trying to offload another Dutch International because he is Gash. Then, the media start throwing names in our direction like ....Syphillis and Gonorrhoea and we cream OUR PANTS again. We have halve the people saying 28 (Negredo) is too old and the other half saying
(Stone) is too young. It is what is ,and that is ....NO EFFING MONEY.We lost nobody of any real importance, team spirit will not be effected,if anything it will be stronger.Let the Dogs of War bark again AND start Nipping at every other Fekkers ankles. 5th in the league Gibbo and Kev back.............THAT IS ENOUGH FOR ME.

bang on,5th place going into February.coyb's

By all accounts young Kennedy is the pyjamas!

So glad we didn't take the chance with Fer - Could have been another Demba Ba

for real?
because every Dutch media writer, expert and ex players have been saying its been taken out of proportion.
His knee is fine and Everton wanted to change the terms because they coudnt afford the up front lump sum?

Oh sorry, I just looked at the one seemingly factual source in the UK (the BBC) - and they mentioned there was a problem with his knee during the medical

In that case - where's the money Bill?
