Very good question. No, at £15 million Illy is the better signing. In fact at whatever we paid for Garner he's a better signing. 2 superb deals by Kopite Kev I believe.

I think Moyes has at least 5 years still in him. Possibly even 10 so i see no reason to be considering a replacement. But really the dof should always have a list of successors ready in case Real Madrid or someone come in for Moyes
