2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

We did not get outplayed in that Bournemouth game at all.

Is there anything objective to what you’re saying or do you simply not like David Moyes and KDH because they aren’t fashionable?
You’re right we played ok even before the goal, I was getting it confused with Villa away where we also got a goal from nothing but really struggled

The league table would suggest otherwise.
I will always love this place because no matter how many times I post an opinion that says some version of how I’m looking at more than just the results someone will come along to talk about the league table and where we stand. Positively and negatively! I remember defending Silva in the day and people going “we’re 17th” or whatever. It’s always fun.

Because to fans of a team that has spent the last few seasons battling to stay in the league all they are interested in atm is points and the league table and making sure it doesn't happen again. The stuff you keep going on about can come in future seasons when we are more settled. This isn't one of your Euro development leagues pal this is the PL and the margins are very slim. As @Eggs said earlier, I think Moyes will be allowed to see his contract then step back from the game, then we will probably see more of what you want then with a more progressive manager. There was always going to be a transitional period though however much like it seems like we are still kicking the can down the road.

Here’s the thing: I’m kinda disappointed in Ndiaye’s season too. I wanted to see him take a step and I don’t think he has. Now the root of all this is the manager and I’ll concede that maybe a different manager with a more coherent attacking plan gets more out of everyone KDH included.

But for me when I watch Ndiaye I see him looking to play in the way I’d expect someone in his position to play, especially when he’s on the left. I just don’t see it the same with KDH. The risk reward balance is wrong. The constant attention to how to threaten and open up teams that the best creators have isn’t there. He’s more concerned with moving the ball along and completing passes imo, which has a place in a team, but that place isn’t the guy playing off the striker.

I know I’m very much alone in this opinion but whatever, it’s still how I see it. I’ve been very wrong about the guy generally and I’ll admit to that, I expected a disaster, but I still think his best role isn’t what he’s been doing this season. What we’re having him do now is limiting our attacking play.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I'm getting from this and your previous posts in this thread today/yesterday is basically that you don't like KDH because he doesn't do elastico's and rainbow flicks and things like that.

No I don’t like him because he doesn’t take the responsibility and challenge of creating chances and manipulating defense on often enough.

And to be clear I don’t like him in this position/system. Hes got a role it’s just not this imo.

Yeah sure, I’ve said for a long time I don’t believe in this as a concept. I didn’t believe in it when people were talking about Carlo doing it.

If Moyes does well he’ll get an extension, unless he wants to step down. Which I really don’t see happening as he’s a football nut.

This thread is getting overly bloated by someone who doesn't rate the lad, I am getting the feeling that it's now become a need to keep convincing himself..

Stop fighting the urge to love a player in blue..

KDH has said himself I believe that his best position is box to box & not a 10.

I think we have looked better when Garner & KDH have played together in the middle but Moyes won’t leave out Gueye if he is available. ☹️
