Bumped into him at St Pancras about a month or so ago, very friendly, could easy of told me to politely F off as he had a train to catch, but was more than happy to stop for a photo.

Showed my 4 year old this video from the game yesterday and he was absolutely beaming when he recognised him and the stadium in the back ground. Made my day (prior to the result!)

My introduction to him was when he was playing in Israel (?), I'm sure he scored against United. Never thought he'd go on to join us, but what a player when fit and firing.

Don’t think he’s an option. Even though he’d be available on a free, his wage demands might be high. And even if he had a good couple of seasons, his resale value afterwards would be low. So romantically, yes… but realistically I think there are younger players we could go for.
