He was solid but he still has a tendency to boot it absolutely anywhere when under no pressure and he had another reckless moment with that unnecessary elbow in the box which should have been a penalty and a red. We need to get rid to improve next season IMHO.

He does have these reckless moments at times, but there's no denying how solid he is, and he's usually the one blocking chances or heading them away.

No way should we get rid and it won't happen anyway.

We need defenders who are quicker and calmer in possession to progress. He’s probably ok as a reserve CB next year given the other gaps in our squad but he really shouldn’t be starting too many matches.

Yep. Violent conduct. You can’t elbow people off the ball. If someone did that to one of our players I would expect a red.

Branthwaite is a great player, he is no use to us if he is out injured all the time though.

He hasn't been poor at all. A couple of dodgy moments. It happens.

Our defence has generally been really strong the past few seasons and the two constants are Pickford and Tarkowski.

His only issue for me is that he aint getting any younger.
