So the calls for in form players to keep there place, Funny I haven't seen any posts asking Baines to be dropped

I'm one - not "dropped", but don't punish Oviedo as he's played brilliantly.

That's why I was happy to see Oviedo pushed to left wing when Baines returned as Pienaar hadn't been performing too well. That way, Baines returns, Oviedo gets rewarded for good form.

Think jelavic will be gone and we'll have a sexy new striker to come in instead. Lukaku will start, and show us all who's boss!

Oviedo's reward was to be moved out of postion against Southampton then dropped all together against Stoke

Poor man management for me

2 goals against a championship defense and people want him ahead of lukaku, forget the last 1 1/2 seasons of him being utter ****e against PL opposition.

the RS should recall borini and play him ahead of suarez as his goal against newcastle was a peach

took the words out of my mouth

Perhaps more controversial is who plays LB next week Oviedo was the provider for Ross and Jela's goals... as far as who plays up front I will go with RM's selection - there are unknown factors to be considered..will Jela still be here? Will we sign a forward ?

Go Go Berto !!

Listening to Martinez, saying Jela needs to go to play his way in to Croatian WC squad sounds like it's only a matter of time before he's gone.

Looks like he played a blinding audition infront of Redknapp today so hopefully they'll come in for him cos the lad will get goals in that league definitely!.

But I said to me old man, after todays 2 goals, and IF he's still here which is possible, I'd give him a run upfront at home to Norwich, see how he gets on, if he scores and it helps us on the way to beating Norwich, then great. But I think he'll be a goner soon and then we'll make our moves to replace him. Im starting to think were holding out for as much as poss for Jela so we can put it towards signing Batshuayi.

I've ****ged Jelavic off all the time lad but he should start... What a message to players it is, just like Oviedo. He got thrown out the team as soon as Baines was back.

Lukaku off the bench will score a lot more than a lukaku who starts every game.

Unless Martinez wants to sell Jelly then for me I would use the Norwich game to see if they could both play together or, failing that, start Lukaku but bring on Jelly with at least 30 mins to go.

'In form' hahahaha.

He's scored 2 against possibly the worst defence to come to Goodison this season and missed a penalty plus what some would describe as a sitter.

In form is when you've done it for 3+ games. He did well today but that's not form. He's done nothing for over a year but fall over and miss sitters.

One decent game doesn't make him Batistuta all of a sudden.

It's absolutely stunning knee-jerking.
