Just not getting the he didn't do anything when he came on

Making out that he just stood in the middle hand on hips not arsed when he was running up and down and even throwing some tackles in.

Not saying He was anything other than ok but the bigger picture it he's a young lad coming to a new league and had a torrid time so far and his confidence is already shattered and then that happens. Just not having that's fair at all,.if dunc felt like he wasn't doing what he was asked then you pull him over and try and explain it to him just ragging him off like that was awful

Depends on why. If it's genuinely to waste time (it wasn't) then no.

If it's because he felt Kean was having a poor cameo, then no - it's part of a young players development.

If it's because he instructed Kean to play a specific position, role or in a certain way and it was being blatantly ignored (e.g play off Maguires shoulder and Kean decides he's going to lurk on the wing) then yes - especially when the tactics have been working so far.

Probably not .
But kean for reasons we dont really know has not done enough in the eyes of our coaching staff to nail a spot or be a big player.
Might be not overly fair on the lad but he must be doin something wrong on the training ground too.

No. That wasn't brave management it was plain weird. Be P'd off at him for not following instructions sure but if that's the case tell him to come over and rollock him in the ear. Subbing him off and blanking him like that was just humiliating the kid in front of millions.

Dunc is doing well as interim but that was a bad, bad decision. Kean is as good as gone now.

Ya totally agree. He could have brought him over. Explained that he is not doing as told. Just to haul him off as a public embarrassment is going too far. Drop him from panel if he isnt doing at training. But dont do it in front of world looking

It felt wrong to humiliate a kid like that to me.

We've had years of senior pros doing far far worse on a far more regular basis.

He's free to make decisions as he sees fit. But it's not one I liked.
And look at what that brought us over the years.

Incredibly naive to think that this was due to anything but his level of commitment.

Don’t see why this has to be a witch hunt either way, manager made a decision he thought would get him the best result, player disappointed by that decision. He wasn’t disrespectful he left the field of play appropriately, didn’t disrespect anyone. There both men, thing happens in life you don’t like, you deal with it, life goes on. Non event.

Sky sports whipping up this drama as if it’s more then it is, really dumbing down the game into some kind of love island drama.

The bringing him off to waste time is utter waffle by the way, he's saying that to keep the issue in house

He's dragged him off because he's been given a task and not carried it out

You know what. i'm made up, sick of seeing bottle jobs and lazy little rats season in season out

Think it was quite alarming when he first ran on the pitch to the wrong position, needed Richarlison to tell him where to play.

Good? He's done nothing. I'll trust the managers decision.

Have no expectations for Kean therefore no disappointments. If he works out then fine, if not he'd be best going back to Italy.

So you always just trust the managers decision, you never question it?
