Big push tonight by the Russians on Izyum. This is now a key target for Russia and their entire campaign could hinge on this.

You can see by the map below just how critical this town is. If Russia captures it, they can swing North to encircle Kharkiv or pivot SE to encircle the Ukr forces defending the Donbas line of resistance.

Keep your eye on this area as the fighting will be intense

It’s quite simple really. Merkel made Germany totally dependent on Russian energy by closing down Nuclear power etc. Russian gas used to come to the EU via Ukraine. Russia could not wipe out its sales of gas to the EU which paid for his economy and military. Until NS1 and NS2. Then Russia knew it could do away with the Ukraine link without affecting its economy. It believed that Germany had to go through with NS2, and Germany (Merkel) did everything it could to make it happen. Putin believed that he could attack Ukraine and get away with it. Had he left it for one year and gotten NS2 in place he could switch off Ukraine and invade. Merkel set the scene for this to happen…..

In case anybody isnt aware, it was the United States of America that stopped the NS2 project.

Which was due to the Russian invasion of Crimea.

Germany has been working with Russia for the last 20-30 years, while having USA and U.K. a while back to provide any protection. Germany has refused to spend its NATO commitment to arms and has run down its military while building up huge amounts of cash. The German miracle, bought and paid for by the USA and U.K…….
