In a sensible world there would be a referendum in that area, if the people there see themselves as Russian then let it be.

True.. but allowing Russia to just walk on and take a country will only see it happen in other countries.. until some Russian aircraft strays into a NATO country and gets intercepted..

Neither did I. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania would be the most concerning. Putin appears to want to get the gang back together these are NATO countries and part of former Soviet Union
