Either they're going to invade Poland or the talk of their military losses/the state of their military and them being pushed back in Ukraine is untrue. I don't think it's likely they'll be going any further than Ukraine if the second part is true

Seriously doubt their losses are manufactured. They are being hammered. Five Generals lost in a month is a bad sign in itself.

At this moment they don't have the means to invade Poland or the logistical support to do so. Maybe if they do take Ukraine and can maintain a base and that is a big if perhaps sometime in the next decade. They seem over extended and their equipment to support their troops are sub standard.

Whether he knows it or not Putin is done empire building.
