Yes. I agree.
Is Putin just a mad man or a mad man in charge of a very dangerous weapons?
Let him fade away maybe as his war fails and the sanctions hit home?
That is not a well man.
Not sure that pi55ing on them Is the answerEverything is not equal in human nature though - rightly or wrongly.
If two of your neighbours were having an ongoing battle that threatened to spill into your garden you might be more concerned about this than reading in the news about two neighbours having a tussle in Australia.
What I am saying is that it is your neighbours fault and you might want to consider getting your hose out and giving them a good soaking.
If NATO were to send any forces in I beleive Putin would immediately raise the stakes by using chemical weapons and/or tactical nuclear weapons. He would give NATO advance warning so as to be able to claim "I told you what I would do if you sent troops in". The result would be a significant increase in the death toll in Ukraine and the risk of further escalation. What would NATO do then?Personally I would like to see NATO forces on the ground stopping this massacre. It's hard to fathom that the united weight of however many countries is in NATO aren't enough to call a halt to this madness.

Still a result. 1 Ukrainian = 9 RussiansThey swapped him for 9 Russian prisoners according to the press
That's extremely offensive. As far as I'm aware it is Zelensky and the Ukrainian people that are actively asking for military help and it is NATO that is choosing not to give it. Would it help to portray all those opposed to giving Zelensky the help he requests "pound shop Walters"?If NATO were to send any forces in I beleive Putin would immediately raise the stakes by using chemical weapons and/or tactical nuclear weapons. You must also be aware that as things stand there is almost zero chance of NATO going into Ukraine unless something changes. I think the Poundland Rambo's on here realise that and can therefore push for military action knowing it will not happen.
The only real way out of this is for a negotiated settlement no matter how distaseful that may be in some ways.
