According to the FT it is the EU that has been mediating the latest Iran talks in Vienna. Russia are asking for current Ukraine related sanctions to be dropped to get their commitment. Not surpsingly the US, eu and UK have said no.

Let’s hope so. It’s not likely, but Russia should be kicked out and Tehran should be made to realise that if they want a deal they will be dealing with the EU and US. The Iranians need money, and sanctions removed, that should be the driving force as horrible as it sounds.
