Interesting. It will be fascinating to see the future of the Russian/Chinese relationship which, as always, is fraught. As Russia’s decline is accelerated, I wouldn’t be surprising to see China attempt in the next 15-20 years to reclaim some of its resource-rich land in Siberia

I wouldn't be surprised if China helps Ukraine/NATO somehow just so they can be at the sanctions table and basically ask for part of Russia without waging a war...

We'll see though.

Genuine question, I’ve seen videos I’d consider sharing as I think it’s important for people to understand the horrors of what’s going on however I don’t want to offend and am aware younger people use this forum. I also don’t want provide links to videos people will only use for a “get on this lad, heavy”. However they are available on social media.

As long as there are no bodies/bits I think it is OK. Seeing a tank blow up is standard Hollywood

It's exactly what it, no almost, sadly there are plenty of people who now vote Tory because they have harnessed the vote of the racist and exonphobe, don't want any type of person for whatever reason who is not indigenous to the UK. A government only behaves like this because it can see political merit and happy to use it.

In time this will be sold as brexit benefit, not having migrants forced on them by the EU. In some sort of cracked way it'll benefit right-wing politicians down the road.

I didn't think I could despise this government any more than I already did, after the shambles of covid and the other acts of incompetence that Johnsonski and his politburo chums have served up, but I was stupendously wrong.

The handling of the humanitarian crisis following this disgraceful attack and our ongoing halfarsed response to sanctioning or engaging Russia makes me ashamed to be British, and sick to my stomach.

Were nothing but a puppet state for Putin - it's baltantly clear from the government's actions.

Worries about a few criminals getting through with the refugees would be laughable, if the situation wasn't so gut wrenching and heartbreaking.

The only criminals we need to be worry about are sitting in number 10 and the cabinet office.

I hope the people of our country never forget or forgive this governments appalling continued actions - I'm sure the Ukrainian people won't.

I just despair at the whole disgusting situation, from all sides - the poor russians and Ukranians forced into this futile mess, fighting and dying for nothing and the dispicable response of the unfeeling Brexit/ukip arseholes who a running this shithshow of a country.

What kind of world have I brought my kids into FFS.
