Indeed. As has been said, this war is not against Russia, it’s against Putin and his henchmen. The ones getting killed on both sides and the destruction of the Ukraine owe it all to Putin.…

Those young soldiers running for their lives are not the ones responsible for the bombing of civilian centres.
They most likely have had no proper training, I don't consider them saving their skins a cowardly act in the circumstances.
Feel sorry for them, don't despise them.

The political scene has completely changed North and South. More likely than ever for SF to be First Minister and Taoiseach in the near future. I am not comfortable with many of their policies but the other parties seem to be a waste of space.

Again, I agree to an extent, but I am fairly sure a large amount of them have been or will be responsible for Ukraine deaths at some point

Nice to to see Ex Danish PM calling out Zahawi on QT for repeating Johnson’s claims that the UK are leading the way against Russia.

‘said: “You said something that almost made me chuckle when you said that Putin will think the UK is leading the efforts against Russia right now.

“Of course it’s not, the European Union is leading the effort against Russia. I don’t think they will see Boris Johnson as a particular leader in this field, so set that straight.”

Disgusting that they then attack Ireland for welcoming Ukrainian refugees because there might be the odd criminal that ends up in the UK.

Have they seen the footage of women and children Leaving everything behind including husband's and fathers, and pulling their whole world through snow in a wheelie bag?

On the face of it, yes it is. But considering the circumstances, there is nothing else to do. They can't go off the roads as they'll be bogged down in the mud.

So you go in single file with a distance in between; two abreast could mean two vehicles are knocked out and the road becomes blocked and free to be attacked.

What's criminal is there lack of screening from infantry, which means ATGMs and artillery spotters are having a field day.
