And to add insult to injury I'm being peppered with propaganda channels like BBC channel 4, sky etc.

Many idjit Americans are so brainwashed by Fox News, they think cities are hot-beds of crime and the people who post on facebook are bonafide US citizen patriots (and not some Indonesian or Vietnamese teenager being paid via dark-money to organize "patriot trucker rallies" to protest such highly important topics such as mask-mandates).

I'm in their camp as I'm sure you can guess. I don't want WW3 and military intervention from the West = WW3. If you see my previous posts I've said how I think it will play out for Putin. I don't buy into the propaganda that Russia are ill prepared and Ukraine have them on the ropes etc. I could be wrong ofc but I just can't see it based on what we've seen and know outside of twitter rumours and misinfo.

Assuming it all does go that way and WW3 is avoided then Putin will pivot firmly to the East from now on imo

I'm not sure - Russian logistics are very poor as they are based on a push not a pull system i.e. instead of troops requesting the supplies they need they are delivered what they are expected to need. Furthermore, in Russia itself the military can take advantage of a huge rail network which it doesn't have access to in Ukraine. Russian logistical brigades are also much smaller and worse equipped than their western equivalents leading analyists to suggest that Russian forces would struggle to advance more than 45km from an established logistics hub. I think it is entirely likely that the Russian invasion is not going to plan.

My wife's cousin was asking us about cities in Europe she should visit and we mentioned Prague as one of many we enjoyed.

She was all set to book it into their itinerary until fox News mentions Prague might be targeted for the dumb reason that it was close to Ukraine.

I said she would be grand but she was having none of it. I went so far to show her on a map what is in between and how and where NATO defenses work and are.

I gave up haha!
