Obviously we need to stop foreign state influence but a lot of the Russian oligarchs are part of that. They may not have official roles but they may as well have given the power they wield.

I don’t think they (at least Abramovich and Usmanov) are here though; the people that have been influencing are the ones who’ve been given British passports (to legalise the influence).

Going after them would be much better than the more obvious candidates, but ofc that would expose whose taken their money and the golden passport protests.

TBF I think you’re wrong. The issue here is not just influence on our government, it’s influence on the Russian government too. We should be targeting all of them and I think it’s completely fair that Abramovich and Usmanov are being treated the way they are. If they aren’t backing the Putin then come out and say so
