The point I was trying to make is that the oligarchs we’ve sanctioned (or threatened to sanction) are the ones who we might be able to use to positively influence the Russian population, large numbers of whom like the same sport and the same clubs we do. As I said having shared interests and a way in to Russian society that isn’t easy to censor is something we want.

The oligarchs we’ve not sanctioned on the other hand *are* the ones who’ve been corrupting our politics, and to a lesser extent our media.

Lebedev for instance, whose dad is according to numerous reports very close to Putin, is not sanctioned. Usmanov, who is close to no UK politicians, is. Why is that?

I’m no fan of Lebedev but he is one of the few to call out Putin and ask him to stop what he is doing. Abramovich has leaned toward calling out Putin without actually doing it and Usmanov has done nothing. He only got sanctioned this evening. How does him saying nothing for a week help Russian people that like football? What’s he doing to bridge the gap?

U.S. and U.K. now sharing direct real-time airborne gathered intel with Ukraine.

This is massive as it will pinpoint RU laser guided artillery and AD systems, allowing the Ukes to mop up with TB2 strikes.

Also NATO providing E3 AWAC command and control for Ukrainian Air Force.

To be clear, is there any evidence that a NATO AWAC is being deployed in Ukrainian airspace? Or is it transiting along the western border of Ukraine and out over international water in the black sea?

Well, no. That'd be because everything you post is either an outright lie, or a gross distortion of the truth, mate. Not sure whether you're sincere, but not intellectually gifted and deluded, or just lacking in self-esteem, and want to make yourself feel important by fabricating an imaginary 'truth' that nobody else has seen.
