I am baffled at how countries with millions of voters can elect certain leaders.

Such sad stories of families taking arms and preparing for battle and to defend their homes because they have been given no other choice by Putin. And now he is murdering them with bombs and massive destructive weapons because he can’t stand that Ukrainians are putting such a good fight. It is maddening that we are just going have to witness on our screens this tyrant destroying Ukraine and annihilating it’s people, it is truly a gloomy time for humanity ?

I wondered the same.. so I’ve just asked a good friend here in Botswana that is the head of the local UN offices what it means… let’s see what he says.. I’ll report back

Microsoft have imposed sanctions to break the resolve of Russia. No one outside Russia and Belarus will have access to power point until its over.

Cut a long story short spoke to a mate who is the economist for the UN here (its a small country). Basically its finger pointing. Its a resolution that shows solidarity against Russia.. a display that they are further isolated. Does it means peace keepers going in or lines of UN support trucks - No..

Edit.. oh and have to love my South African government who had a 30 year anniversary celebration this week with their russian counterparts for supporting them during apartheid. Don't mention the war.... and SA of course did not vote to condemn Russia in the UN vote.
