Depends how you view it. One analysis I read is that China's abstentions are as good as no votes in some regards. They're never going to flat out vote no, but by not throwing weight behind Russia it is significant. It will be interesting to see if there offer of mediation is taken up too.

Most of these yellow and red countries are human rights disasters anyway. How many Uyghurs have been detained in China? 1.000.000? Forced abortions & forced sterilizations & everything...
Let's use this outrage so we don't have to complain about being too passive in 20 years or so.

I don't see what is wrong with Ukraine over reporting Russian deaths/ minimising their own? Their defence relies on keeping moral up amongst their citizens

In fact artillery bombardment is and has been a cornerstone of Soviet/Russian war tactics for the last 80 years.

True but I do think Putin thought he could take Kyiv with relative ease after two or three days. He did not expect to have to use the full force of his military.
If he did, they would be better prepared.

He said he would not be asking for the money he has loaned Chelsea since buying the club in 2003 to be repaid.
