We should surely be engaging in negotiation and insisting that the UN immedIately send in a peace keeping force. Any argument from Russia, ‘Koff we’re coming.

People are dying.
Kev
The Russians would rightly consider this to be NATO aggression under a literal false flag.

It's impossible anyway. The five permanent members of the Security Council also have veto power over changes to the UN Charter. They gave themselves this power as the victors in WWII, as they weren't about to cede an iota of sovereignty from a position of strength. The UN can do nothing to threaten the interests of these countries, by design when the institution was set up.
I get all that. The UN was not designed to allow member countries to invade their neighbours.

What Russia are doing is evil.

Every country in the world should join in and bring this ego trip to a stop.

If a ever a joint force suported by every country was needed. it’s now.

The world has changed. Russia changed those rules. We either live or die with Ukraine.

If the UN do nothing and jib out, we are all guilty.

To be fair it’s standard Soviet playbook

Payback lol - He will spare no one once the troops are there

Women children the lot will be live targets

Remember Chechnya and Stalingrad
Kev, there is that laughing emoji as you talk about Putin sparing no one. That just doesn't sit right.

Is the below worthy of a laugh lol

GOT is prime WUM territory but pick your topics, you are better than this, mate.

interesting comments from the Kherson Mayor, ties in with my thought that the Russians are going to try for a divide and rule, military state.

Kherson mayor appears to suggest city has fallen

The mayor of Kherson has appeared to suggest that the southern Ukrainian city has fallen to Russian forces.
In a message posted to Facebook on Wednesday, Igor Kolykhaev wrote that "there were armed visitors in the city council today" and that he had told the troops "we don't have Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city, only civilians and people who want to LIVE here!".
Kolykhaev wrote that Moscow's forces have imposed a curfew from 20:00 to 06:00 local time (22:00 - 08:00 GMT), and said cars with food, medicines and some other supplies will be allowed to enter the city.
He added that cars within the city must drive at "minimum" speed and pedestrians are banned from moving in groups of more than two people.
"So far this is how it is. Ukrainian flag above us. And to keep it the same, these requirements must be met. I have nothing else to offer yet", Kolykhaev said.
