They lost like 30 millions people, 20 million civilians in all that, yeah they got different memory of that. Brutality of Eastern Front and size of battles fought there, hard to comprehend

Same as we got here in my country (Croatia) where half of country fought for Nazi Germany and other half joined Partisan resistance. This divisions and who was on which side in 1945 are still here after all this years
Let's not fall into who was the worst dictator Hitler or Stalin...

Zelensky appeal to the EU just then, very powerful stuff, and it is clear that emotions are high across the board.

If Russia step up the atrocities I am now not sure that the west will not become directly involved.
You wonder if/when Russia start using its Air Force to bomb targets, NATO might then step in and say enough is enough, and put in a no fly zone over Ukraine.

Mir.

Shouldn’t you be monitoring the immediate oncoming civil war situation in Moscow ?

lol

Mir is a Russian payment system for electronic fund transfers established by the Central Bank of Russia under a law adopted on 1 May 2017. The system is operated by the Russian National Card Payment System, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Central Bank of Russia

And? They issue credit cards

Boris getting grilled by a Ukrainian journalist who gets very upset about why the UK aren’t helping Ukraine more is one of the most awkward things I’ve ever seen him trying to reply to and let’s be honest he has previous in bad replies

If UK people overwhelmingly support a military response against Russia (only within UKR) via protests or online referandums/polls, despite warnings about it consequences, would British army help Ukraine?
I feel public opinion is definitely moving in that direction. I think many of those who support it would (wrongly) believe it'd only be volunteer trained troops heading over there though...

Countries have 'donated' planes to Ukraine and theyre (going to be?) Piloted and flown from Poland back to Ukraine.

Thats what ive read...so im expecting ukraine to do pretty well against the russians. There was an article on the russian planes this morning.
