Too busy coming across posters of Stalin? Is that the Russian speaking Gogol?
Maybe you want to point me in the direction of his Ukranian language works, because I havent come accross them?

Didn't he wear a mask for a significant part of his carreerYes, unfortunately.
His “might makes right” rhetoric doesn’t come as any surprise here though. Back during a council meeting at the height of COVID he low-key threatened the Director of our Health Department (a woman at least in her 50’s) with physical violence over her mask guidance.
Nothing to see here…just my local mayor tweeting out his admiration for Putin.
So way are you so stubbornly opposed to Putin withdrawing his troops and ceasing all hostilities? That would bring this whole "invasion" malarky to an immediate end, wouldn't it?Its a human tragedy, and I hope it ends soon. The worst thing would be for this to drag on for years again.
This is a country forged by Ivan the Terrible and run for decades by Stalin. It's sort of par for the course. While I agree with this, I'm baffled a man who has literally been proven to poison and assassinate his political opponents has even managed to stay in power this long... that's where other countries have let Russia down too, surely.

Why?This is a country forged by Ivan the Terrible and run for decades by Stalin. It's sort of par for the course.
Yes they would. They will not use chemical weapons against "fraternal" people, not even Nazis used chemical weapons
You are going to look so silly when Russian society hasn’t collapsed by Monday Zat
It’s this kind of western wishful thinking that has lead us to this point
How would you have proposed doing that? Invading a nuclear weapons state with an explicit goal of regime change? Why?
We're in 2022. He assassinated a political opponent in what, 2014?
He should have been stopped years ago - by the west.
Well the issue is getting them to where they're needed, Zat.
I wish that another country could go in, like the UK for example, and get rid of that convoy/stop it (while limiting loss of Russian life as much as possible), but they can't. So it has to be left to the Ukrainians and it seems getting that weaponry to them is going to be very difficult.
Not at all.How would you have proposed doing that? Invading a nuclear weapons state with an explicit goal of regime change?
Not at all.
There shouldn't have just been this acceptance that he was there, though.
It was a disgrace (at the time) that Russia was handed a World Cup, for example, or the Sochi Winter Games. This acceptance of Putin's regime from the West. It should never have happened.
It's easy not to cower down while he commits atrocities in his own country. It's not easy to remove the leader of the country with the biggest nuclear arsenal on earth.
