So about what exactly are they gonna talk at this meeting?
I mean i doubt Putin after committing largest army in Europe since WW2 just gonna walk away after 4 days.

Also i doubt Ukraine gonna accept his demands about turning away from EU and NATO.
This just seems strategic pause to allow Russian army to regroup and prepare for massive offensive.

Ye definitely get the feeling it's a strategic pause. Both sides will see the benefit in that. I think serious negotiations will happen when/if Kiev is overrun.

My wife's Ukrainian friend's family was forced out of Ukraine. Some to Russia, she came here, all because of their Russian heritage. It's crappy, but it happens and should not be dismissed.

Some of these Russians have lived in Ukraine for hundreds of years. To be uprooted like that is just shameful.

My wife’s late father’s family are Ukrainians’s from the north of Ukraine and her mothers family were migrated by the soviets into Ukraine from Russia after WW2 and live in the south, she studied Ukrainian at school and her degree in Russian and has a masters in Phil ology , she was a teacher of both languages, in Dinepro. She says she’s never felt any amimosity from either side based on spoken language nor heard of it happening, not saying I don’t believe what’s happened to your friend, that’s terrible but I am surprised and your right issues like this should be addressed once this horrific conflict is resolved.

Civilians always become legitimate targets in war. Given the chance and circumstances all sides will practice the art of breaking the will of the people.
