Kharkov is about 30 mins from the Russian border dispute multiple attempts they haven't managed to hold for more than a couple of hours before getting their asses handed to them.

I see Ukraine are pleading to be allowed EU membership.

They ignored them long enough before this because of longstanding problems within their economy. They'll likely still be there after all this. I know what the EU does is nothing to do with someone in the UK, but I hope the EU doesn't ditch them and helps them to get up to the standard quickly so they can join.
