If we want to end the bloodshed on both sides then the Ukraine regime needs to be dragged to the negotiating table in an effort to stop it killing more of their own citizens in a war that's already been lost.
In a thread that has embarrassed this site over the weekend more than the team at Old Trafford, this sentence from some old, lonely tit in Wigan is the most egregious thing I've ever read on here.

During a war then if you work in a factory which is a military one then you're gonna be fair target mate, the one struck was a ballistic missile producing one, anyone in there at the time is gonna be sadly to say collateral damage. .y gran worked in one in Liverpool during ww2 she knew at any point they could be bombed.

The missile tested I don't think people understand just how significant this was. It's a conventional weapon not nuclear but the destructive power is way beyond anything we've seen used before.

If people shrug this off then they are [Poor language removed] idiots.
I'm assuming your gran survived? I hope so. But standards of war 80 years ago are not relevant to today. As a society, most countries have moved on.

I am surprised you believe that civilians can be legitimate targets depending on their job ☹️

What about a bank cashier, straight out of school that works for a bank that provides loans to arms manufacturers which drops bombs on military targets. Are they legitimate collateral damage?

If civilians are such fair game in a war then why did you slink off at the suggestion you and your family could be legitimate targets?

It's all fair unless it's you and yours I see.

You're an absolute stain on this forum

Yeah she did mate, we t back to working for Jacobs biscuits after the war

I don't, but if they work directly for military production then they will be. Otherwise every factory producing military equipment would be off limits

Nope, see above.

Sorry lad but my 10 and 6 year olds aren't working in armaments factories.

Interesting to see who likes your post though.

As for being a stain on the forum, yeah ok, you're mirroring another piece of scum who said he hoped my kids died - morale high ground, now [Poor language removed] off.

Would I be correct in surmising that people working directly for the war machine are legitimate targets, but those working indirectly are not.

It is a topic with a million grey areas, how could anyone hope to define a line with any certainty?

Pretty much yes, notice though that Russia targets factories at a time that minimises civilian workers causalities.

On a note it's actually inefficient doing so in terms of reducing capacity. Why don't they target them during peak working hours...

No need to get angry mate, just a discussion isn't it mate?

I wouldn't wish harm on any child unlike yourself who's happily endorsing Putin propaganda about kidnapped Ukrainian children.

You're human garbage in my opinion and everyone on this forum sees you for what you are MATE.
