They didnt do a very good job of liberating eastern Europe just basically replaced the Nazi with communist.
Parts of Formally China suffered the same fate at there hands as well.

They replaced the greatest killing machine in human history with functioning government.

Take a tally of the death toll under Nazi Germany and compare it with Soviet era eastern Europe.

It's a completely bogus comparison.

You werenlt around when it happened.
My grandmother was a prisoner of a concentration camp and forgave the Germans. The Red Army carried out such liberation that she could not forgive the Russians for what they did.

First they stabbed us in the back in '39, then they murdered thousands of officers and intelligentsia in Katyn, waited for Warsaw to bleed to death allowing the Germans to commit mass genocide, and then they liberated us through rape, murder and persecution of Home Army soldiers.

It has a history of liberating Europe from the tyranny of Nazi Germany...something desecrated by the barbaric acts of Ukrainians and the Baltic states who have smashed to pieces all the monuments in those countries erected celebrating the defeat of Nazi Germany.

& this is why the world isn’t as black and white as you see it Dave.

While us in the west, seen the Nazi Germany for what it was & correctly defeated that ideology there’s plenty in the Baltics who seen them as “liberators” from the Soviets.

The Soviets weren't liberating Finland & weren’t liberating the Baltics when they sent them to work camps and murdered them in their thousands.

Let’s not forget, the Soviets were well on board with Germany until Hitler changed his mind.

Tell that to the Polish / other patriots that fought the Nazis then were killed for being enemy of the state the Russians had put into place as there puppets.
The suppression of entire populations by secret police.
The forced movement of the the tarta people ect to the far reaches of Russian siberia.
Russia is a stain on history.

As for the Sudan example, yeah mate so similar. We live a life of oppression here. But by that you kinda admitted it's a internal matter - essentially a civil war

Press gangs in Moscow, a nightclub holding a LGBTQ+ themed event - the ideology of which is banned in Russia so it was raided and people detained, yeah they're straight off to the front no doubt, lining up right alongside the Koreans no one has actually seen yet. Give your head a wobble.
Sounds a bit oppressive, to be fair.

This is, for me, one of the greatest betrayals. The Red Army could have saved the Home Army and Warsaw, yet instead they halted because of their ambitions.

They allowed the SS to purge them, and when they themselves entered Poland the dreaded NKVD had their way. Saviours... my fluffin' arse!

For their own reasons, many on here choose to forget how Stalin's actions led to millions and millions of Russian deaths, so why would he care about Poland?
