My grandmother was a prisoner of a concentration camp and forgave the Germans. The Red Army carried out such liberation that she could not forgive the Russians for what they did.

First they stabbed us in the back in '39, then they murdered thousands of officers and intelligentsia in Katyn, waited for Warsaw to bleed to death allowing the Germans to commit mass genocide, and then they liberated us through rape, murder and persecution of Home Army soldiers.

Sorry for your family's losses, but to compare Nazi Germany's industrial scale slaughterhouse with Stalinism as carried out in the Soviet Union's satellites is beyond daft.

Yes, Stalin was a mass murderer, but the vast majority of those killed were Russians.

While us in the west, seen the Nazi Germany for what it was & correctly defeated that ideology there’s plenty in the Baltics who seen them as “liberators” from the Soviets.

The Soviets weren't liberating Finland & weren’t liberating the Baltics when they sent them to work camps and murdered them in their thousands.

Let’s not forget, the Soviets were well on board with Germany until Hitler changed his mind.

...and a lot of people from the Baltics and Ukraine joined the German military (including SS regiments).

Tell that to the Polish / other patriots that fought the Nazis then were killed for being enemy of the state the Russians had put into place as there puppets.
The suppression of entire populations by secret police.
The forced movement of the the tarta people ect to the far reaches of Russian siberia.
Russia is a stain on history.

We've seen big ted crompers wax lyrical about Simeone and american based youth football camps.
