You look at it very black & white Dave. Nobody is putting Kyiv on a pedestal but it’s quite clearly beneficial for the West if Russia are not successful.

They’re the aggressor, they’re the imperialists, everything you’re supposed to hate but when it comes to this you don’t seem to have an issue.

We can all sit here & pretend there’s good vs evil but there isn’t such a thing so it’s all about what makes us “safer” & economically sounder. We can also pretend that if the war stops tomorrow that Russia will be happy with their buffer zone but deep down you know that isn’t true.
