Some insight coming out regarding the situation post the Kursk SMO.

The rail and freight situation in Russia and its knock-on effect in Belarus are having an impact

Since Kursk, Lukashenko seems to be in a more conciliatory frame of mind, releasing his political opponents from jail, calling for peace talks and saying that Ukraine has been de-nazified.

And from Belarus media.

Good job he's not just moved a third of his army onto the Belarus-Ukrainian border then over the last couple of days...

…..internal division can’t help the Ukraine effort, Zelensky and Klitschko hating each other and not spoken for years. Both patriots, both anti-Russia, I’d have thought they’d put there personal differences aside for the greater good.

Did you watch the documentary?

Third bridge down today. Cutting off supply routes around Kursk. Interesting. Check the theory of why this solidified the position of Ukraine and master stroke of cutting off aggressor’s troops in Ukraine.
We've got to hope that the success at Kursk will help remedy the situation elsewhere, because Russia continues to make advances.

Chess move setting up future success. Losing a pawn to take out a bishop.
If by taking the land in the Kursk oblast they force Russia to make a decision, re-take the area or continue with their planned capture of Pokrovsk then maybe Ukraine’s gamble will pay off.

Russia will struggle to run two simultaneous campaigns and given the pressure now bearing down on Putin - then surely he must direct his resources to liberating Russian territory. That will give Ukraine the window it needs to re-enforce its frontline in the East and protect the strategic city of Pokrovsk.

So far it seems that Russians didnt took the bait and removed a lot of their units from the Eastern front.
Reading today that Ukrainians announced evacuation of city of Pokrovsk, apparently Russians came only 7-8 km from the city, them saying its key Ukrainian supply hub in the Donbas.

We don't know for sure, but i would guess that outside massive PR boost, one of the main goals of Kursk incursion was attempt to force Russians to weaken their onslaught in the East, so far it seems instead Russians doubled down their efforts over there.

Interesting what Ukrainians gonna do, continue to trying to improve their position in Kursk region (seems front there mostly stabilized in last few days) or try to consolidate and fortify what they took.
