There's no elections planned. They're running out of people to send to the front, so now students and women, even those pregnant, are being forced to turn up to be conscripted. Meanwhile there are 700 000 men abroad who don't want to go back and fight for the 'cause'. Even the fascist types are happy to do a bunk out of the country.
Zelensky has been yapping on about a Russian inspired Maidan 2. His nervousness, is because he's being sidelined by the US Empire and they are worried that a civil war is brewing in what remains of Ukraine. Pressure is building on Zelensky to negotiate but he's reluctant as he's beholden to the fascist Rightist forces.
The people of what is left of Ukraine may well need to take up arms and get rid of Zelensky and his Rightist clique.

I just read on Simplicus the thinker's twitter feed that there has been an unprecedented exodus from Ukraine of birds flying south before they got drafted for the winter offensive.
But just for balance, there's also been a migration south of similarly cowardly birds in Russia.
