Just getting terrible vibes with this mess now

1. Destroy Russia
2. Until the last Ukrainian
3. As long as it takes

These are the stated objectives. It has been said over and over and over. It’s not a bluff or a joke it is their plan.

Still today they say Russia must lose.

Well as of today, Ukraine is finished, Russia is stuck in a nightmare and the west is desperately clinging on to what it’s got.

You do have a habit of often taking things very literally - even really obvious points like this.

when I say ‘you’ obviously it would be the Americans (not the Ukrainians) who would be playing nuclear chicken by seriously threatening Crimea in your scenario.

Which is why there’s about a 1% chance of it happening.

Although with these nutcases you never know….

If hypothetically tomorrow there was a peace deal agreed where everything was returned to pre-invasion status would you be happy with that?

I’ve got nothing to do with it but if Crimea was formally recognised as part of Russia there might be a case - but the Americans would never offer it anyway. They want Russia destroyed as objective no.1

And I can’t see Russia accepting anything less than acquiring formally everything they’ve gained so far

If it finished tomorrow with Crimea staying part of Russia and everything else reverted, would you be happy? I’m not talking about the US or Russia or how they would feel. How would you feel?

Could well have the reverse affect of the initial intention. Sanction russia back into the stone age and keep them ALL there. no olympics, no world cup, no euro football, finished. Back to the days of bartering a months pay in kind for a pair of levi's.

Do you think their population would notice much? Does North Korea do knockoffs perhaps they could fill need of a previous Western appetite Of apparel and food stuff. Sad fact WW1 shows isolation doesn’t work so a more realistic solution needs to be found.
