230, 000 death certificates issued today for bodies returned to Russia (that’s not counting the tens of thousands left on the battlefields or ploughed into Ukranian fields. Given the average attrition ratio of 3:1 for WIA v KIA, that means almost 700,000 wounded/disabled. That’s very close to a million casualties for Russia.
All for the sake of one man and his dreams of restoring the imperialist empire. Anyone who supports him and Russia in their sick war of conquest is a massive wrong-un.
The Ukranian people made their choice to fight, it’s their right to do so (and overall they’re not doing too badly).

they are doing very badly indeed. as per the NYT and other western media who assert there is no serious counter offensive progress, and that none will be forthcoming.
the Russians are the ones who have gained territory since this conflict began, not the other way round.
Ukraine was once the largest country in Europe, today it isnt.

What exactly would you like to see happen?
If Ukraine stop fighting and sue for peace and give Russia the 18% of lands they currently hold, Do you really think Russia won't be back for more be it 5 or 10 years time.
If Ukraine keep fighting and win that's the end of Russian aggression and other firmer Soviet states need no longer worry about aggression.
If Ukraine keep fighting and loose then Ukraine becomes Russian and Russia builds up military strength and we'll see the same situation in Moldova, Goerga and pretty much any former Soviet state not under NATO protection.
No matter what happens in this war bar the unconditional surrender of Russia will lead to future bloodshed.
So I ask again what exactly would you like to see happen here? And how would you see that work going forward with regard to future conflicts?

Russia just lost 3 front line brigades (2 of them elite VDV units).
Russia just had their Black Sea fleet almost destroyed by a nation that doesn’t even have a navy
They’ve lost a massive chunk of the land they captured at the start of this war (Kharkiv and Kyiv oblasts)
Their AD network in Crimea has been seriously degraded (just in time for the F-16’s to make an appearance)
I’d say Ukraine is doing just fine - it’s Russia that should be worried about now.
