Russia is on fire again

Without a doubt Crimea is Ukraine’s territory. During preliminary preparation for the de-occupation of the territory and based on provisions of international law, Ukraine has been fulfilling three key tasks by attacking occupation military objects in Crimea… Firstly: we need to open up the sky over the peninsula in order to be able to actively destroy Russian military and warehouse infrastructure. For this purpose anti-missile systems/air defense systems, including Triumph, are being destroyed… Secondly: we need to stop the large-scale continuous supply of resources and reserves into the area of active hostilities. For this purpose transport logistics, including illegal objects like bridges in Kerch Strait, is being destroyed. Thirdly: we need to chase away remnants of the Russian Black Sea fleet from the Crimean territorial waters and beyond and reinstate the status of the Black Sea as the sea of external jurisdiction. For this purpose repairs infrastructure and Russian warships are being destroyed…

People are moving back.. one kid in the School that I work in, The whole Family moved back over the summer. Another kid turned 18 and went back to fight. That's people from 2 families from 1 school in a small town in Ireland, I doubt they are the only ones, probably not in a majority but there is some movment back.I don’t know why people would come back? Maybe if there was peace and they had a chance to build their lives, but they won’t be rushing back into a war situation.
That means as of now you might have 7 million men in the country and around 3/4 million who are of fighting age. You still need people to deal with the infrastructure of the country. I’d say it’s on the brink of manpower collapse.
As for sanctions they’ve widely been accepted to have failed, miserably. Backfired completely in fact as it’s our economies that have been crushed rather than Russia’s.
The Kim Family has done this to NK.. please don't be that guy..Interesting point about North Korea is that it’s unlikely that Russia actually need weapons from them, it’s more of a question of brining then into an alliance.
Putin/Russia are escalating just not in a kinetic direct manner against the west, they are escalating in unconventional ways, the latest escalation(as viewed by the West) is increased contact/ties with North Korea. This is actually a huge act as it may open the door for NK to emerge from the isolation the US has put them in for the last 20 or so years

Again, I urge anyone and everyone to read about the protections offered Soveign states such as Ukraine under international law, charters and through multilateral treaties.Again, I urge anyone and everyone to read about how and why Crimea was given to Ukraine. Seizing it by force in 2014 was absolutely wrong, but any independent tribunal that was asked to adjudicate on who has the strongest title to it would find very little to back the Ukrainian claim.
Surely the the fact it is Ukraine is all that matters. international law sees crimea as Ukraine as do the people of Ukraine, therefore, it is Ukraine?Again, I urge anyone and everyone to read about how and why Crimea was given to Ukraine.
