You have one side of the story, and one that is easily available to most in this country due to the massive reach the media in the west has here. I’ve looked at both sides and have come to the conclusion we are in an ideological battle for a multi polar world. Which, if it came about, would benefit everyone.

Ukraine is merely the chessboard in which this is being played out.

Your insight extends as far as ‘putin bad man’

So Putin invaded as an act of global generosity? Quite a stretch that.

Not as generosity, but out of neccessity. The US's shameless extension of its reach into directly attempting to control regions next to the country with the most nuclear weapons on the planet is a recipe for battle lines to be drawn.

Your viewpoint is of course the standard line 'putin invaded illegally and without justification'

No.. the government's that repesent of 80% of the world's population.. that is a massive difference to 80% of the world's population.. you live in a country that supports Ukraine, by your logic you are in the 20% that does support ukraine.. yet here you are.
Lets be grown up about this, yes I am referring to 80% of world governments.

neither you or I have any idea of whether a single African goat herder supports Joe Biden or not.

I do wish you would stop trying to sound clever, (you dont btw) by telling me what my viewpoint is.

I dont know why he invaded. I think international law states the invasion is illegal, not me. I think your analysis is utterly laughable, and think that Vlad has made the mother of all mistakes.

you are the one trying to force your viewpoint on me, tbf. and if you claim you arent well......

just giving you back what you are trying to impose on me.

you say that point of view is utterly laughable but that is the reason the Russian federation have given at least in part for this, and I understand where they are coming from. So you may laugh but it is not a non-mainstream view by any stretch.

Exactly the reason this wasn't out of necessity... as if the country with the most nukes in the world are concerned for their security... this invasion is a land grab.. it's no coincidence that the areas annexed contain the largest lithium reserves in Europe you know the key ingredient in batteries for electric cars... like Crimea in 2014 the first place Putin visited after the annexation was the off shore oil fields.. this was a land grab to future proof Russias energy producing economy.
