I am somewhat surprised that my posts elicit such strong reactions. There's no controversial assumptions here. No unfair analysis. It's pretty standard fare. Nor can it be wrong since a jury, given all of the relevant evidence, exonerated Rittenhouse just as I would have. I don't understand how some of you can even be surprised that he was acquitted. Please do explain it on the relevant thread and here on Ukraine.

Different viewpoints are healthy and having tribal, entrenched views is usually really bad for the public's interest. Had it not existed with this incident, the Rittenhouse prosecution would never have been brought with the taxpayers money that was wasted on the huge investigation and the trial saved. The media who called Rittenhouse a murderer misled you and misrepresented what had happened to present a political argument instead. You should be angry with them, not me. They lied to you. I haven't.

Can well imagine Russian tactical nukes being used on airfields housing F-16s if they are donated / made available.
I may be a little pessimistic but I think the only thing that stops Vlad is the siloviki / his own forces.

It seems that the Orcs are now targetting non strategic regions that are not covered by air defense and attacking emergency services and residential buildings. What an absolute disgrace Putins Russia is.

It’s a facility to support long range strikes of ones enemy.
Minimal civilian damage / death.
Renders it unusable for a prolonged period of time
Guaranteed destruction / unserviceability of significant number weapons platforms.

I dealt with that in the other topic. If he wanted to find trouble or to murder, as you claim, there's far easier and safer ways to do it than firstly waiting to be attacked by a mob of anarchists, assaulted and hit over the head with a skateboard, getting shot at by someone else and then having another gun pointed at your head before you decide to pull the trigger. How could he have known he would have survived all these attacks to get to a point some time later where he would then shoot? It's not a credible theory. Rittenhouse was the only person on the street acting responsibly. The rest were thugs.

The fact the person who died was a sex pest should have tipped you off that he doesn't follow laws or care about others

He found it.
He murdered.
He was acquitted, possibly because he was the 'right' skin shade.

He went looking for trouble and succeeded in killing two people. If he hasn’t driven miles with a gun to a known trouble spot those people are still alive. In a bizarre twist he actually lucked out by getting hit with a skateboard (I mean really) that enabled him to cry self defence when murdering the dude.
As for the sex pest not following laws? Have you ever broken the speed limit? Smoked a spliff etc??

Because it's an insane escalation that achieves nothing conventional weaponry couldn't and unites the entire world against you.

I've never once conflated Rittenhouse with Ukraine, so don't know what you're talking about. I've no idea why others have chosen to do so. All I have said is we should be seeking peace and trying to avoid a nuclear war with Russia at all costs which are current policy seems determined to produce.
