If the Ukes can use mobility and speed to outflank these positions then they get in between their lines and cut off the defenders in blocks. A bit like the Israeli tactics against the Egyptians in Sinai.
It’s all conjecture of course, but I’ve heard a few people say that Russia’s recent drive to build defensive positions is purely political - public reassurance.
It’s all well and good building lots of trenches and building some pillboxes and whatnot, however is there a plan to use them? Are they interconnected?
Has this been a suitable use of resources? Based on their recent lack of tactical success, you’d surmise that they probably won’t utilise them effectively.
