Yup. Chally’s, Leopards, Marders, Bradley’s, Strykers and AMX are all now in Ukraine. M1A1’s are probably another month or two away but they have enough firepower and trained manpower in country to mount a serious counter-offensive.

Just a matter now of when and where.
Which of the 3 MBTs do you see doing best?

I'd go for Leopard II; not because of their superiority but the wealth of spares and trained personnel they'll have for them. Challenger II showed how good it is...

... but as a collective the German tank will probably have a bigger impact due to spares, trained personnel and whatnot.

Does it really matter. Just so long as they all do their job……
They’ll all do a job Pete, I don’t see any of them struggling against any tank the Russians have.

I think the Challenger will and should be used more defensively than the other two. The Bradley’s, if they’ve got a competent enough crews, will have a field day.

They all have their good points. Challenger and M1A1 should do well if the Ukes use them properly and engage targets from long range. The leopards and the T-72’s would I guess be used to close with the enemy.

It’s clear though that they have to used alongside dismounted infantry supported by IFV’s. They will also need to neutralise Russian artillery and counter the drone threat. In effect they need to employ combined arms manoeuvre warfare, something that the Russians are incapable of. If they do this properly then they will win this phase.

The Americans surely must be teaching them shock and awe tactics. Problem being the contested airspace still makes it anyone’s game.

The US are the masters of armoured manouvre warfare so I’d guess they are training the ukes accordingly.

As you say - no side truly has control of the battlefield air space. So it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

It was noticeable that in the video you posted of Ukrainians training on Challengers that there was a US serviceman as part of the training staff….

er - before congratulating this masterful chess move or whatever, please note that Zelensky has been asking Xi for a phone call throughout the past year and not had one
