They have a group called hands or something going with a lot of the worlds oil producers, Saudi Arabia rumoured to be getting intrested, the would literally contol the bulk of the oil on the globe.
The Chinese brokersd a deal between Saudi and Iran the other week , if they agree to use the Chinese currency instead of the USA Dollar it will cement China firmly as the new kids on the block.

Honestly the geo-strategic side of this is where the collective West is failing most of all in this crisis. Our leaders are still mostly focused on at best a single issue and at worse absolute nonsense whilst others are trying to set things up that will be very hard to stop without a complete change in how we live here. "We" oppose negotiations except on Ukraine's terms, whilst countries in Africa and Asia see food security put at risk as a result and have Russia throwing grain at them in abundance. How on earth do we expect people to listen to us?

We urgently need a much better appeal to the rest of the world; personally I think when faced with energy / food producing nations bribing other countries the best thing we could do is to (for example) help Africa get to a point of energy independence along with Europe. Fund, and offer to help to build huge solar farms across the Sahara for everyone's benefit; build interconnectivity between the two continents; actually do something to help people rather than merely exploit them.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Unfortunately it appears to fail our basic capitalism test.

Please re-submit, clarifying in detail, how exactly we would make money out of such a scheme ?

Challys are in Ukraine along with their trained crews. Won't be long now

Leopard IIs arrived in Ukraine too, with more to come. Although they're in small numbers, they could play a real difference because...

There's even been talk of IS-3 tanks being sent to the front to act as mobile artillery or put down in hull down positions. K'in ell, these are from the 40s.

Wagner Group forces have likely taken the AZOM industrial complex in northern Bakhmut and continue to make gains within the city. Russian milbloggers widely claimed on March 28 that Wagner fighters have captured the AZOM complex and are working to clear the area of remaining Ukrainian forces.[1] These claims are relatively consistent with available visual evidence of Russian presence in the AZOM complex. Geolocated footage posted on March 26 shows a military correspondent from Russian outlet RIA Novosti moving around the territory of the complex with apparent ease, indicating that Wagner likely controls enough of the plant to host media personalities in relative safety.[2] RIA Novosti correspondent Sergei Shilov additionally visited AZOM on March 28 and indicated that fighting has now moved to the industrial zone south of AZOM.[3] Several Russian milbloggers also claimed on March 28 that Wagner fighters have advanced closer to Bakhmut’s city center, taken control of the city market, and reached the Palace of Culture.[4] These claims are plausible considering geolocated visual evidence of Wagner’s advances towards the city center posted on March 28, as well as combat footage of Ukrainian infantry engaging in small arms exchanges with Russian forces near the Palace of Culture and central market area in Bakhmut city’s center.[5] Wagner is likely working to consolidate gains in northern and central Bakhmut to push towards the city center and expand its zone of control into western Bakhmut. ISW assesses that Russian forces have advanced into an additional five percent of Bakhmut in the last seven days and that they currently occupy roughly 65 percent of the city.

Yup. Chally’s, Leopards, Marders, Bradley’s, Strykers and AMX are all now in Ukraine. M1A1’s are probably another month or two away but they have enough firepower and trained manpower in country to mount a serious counter-offensive.

Just a matter now of when and where.

They try to control the oil, just as the world is moving to renewables 🤦‍♂️
