Do I get a detention sir?"the people who did this are vermin" would be fine, but that wasn't the distinction that was made

Do I get a detention sir?
you should at least think about what you are posting before you post it
Yet everything posted by yourself in this thread gives a pro-Russian approach. This war should not have started, but Russia decided it would.I am not pro-Russian at all, I just wish people didn't fall down the rabbit holes of propaganda of whatever side and actually looked at the context and history of such things before spouting off with generalizations. It is so self-defeating and, frankly, dangerous.

Soldiers, civilians, children -- it makes no difference to Russia. We've seen it in Georgia, Chechnya, Syria. Different places, different generations of Russians, same story everytimeDo you feel that this unacceptable behaviour is an isolated incident - with a clear focus on Ukraine to avoid on whataboutism?

I saw the full unedited version and it was horrific.
Russian troops are vermin.
The fact is though that when you put troops, of any nation, into situations like this - where they are told to kill the enemy, where they see friends and comrades killed horrifically, when they are forced into situations where they themselves are in real and ongoing fear of death or serious injury - someone will do something very similar to this.
The Russians are not exceptional here; a UK serviceman (Alexander Blackman) did almost exactly the same thing and was convicted for it.
No, that is not what happened and there seems in your post an awful lot of an attempt to condone (or at least minimize) what Blackman actually did.
What these people did was reprehensible, deserves legal sanction and outright condemnation, but how we got from that to "Russian troops are vermin" is profoundly disturbing.
you said "Russian troops are vermin" - there was no distinction, no talk of battle rage, just that "they" are vermin

hey, I am not the one who called an entire nation of human beings service personnel as vermin
I sincerely apologise for corrupting the good people of GOT.well @Mutzo Nutzo, here is the proof of wrongness
It would be crass for anyone to try and defend a strategy that seeks to erase an entire people. That is what Russia is doing. Equally so try and ignore what is happening or fall back on whataboutery.I sincerely apologise for corrupting the good people of GOT.
I think we’re all adults here and we can all develop our own opinions without the need for the weird form of self imposed forum governance that you attempt to impose.
Meanwhile back in Ukraine:
Russia has taken to cobbling together bits of old tanks and ships to make new tanks!
Their latest invention is this hideous contraption of an Mt-lb chassis with a naval gun turret welded on top
Is this yet another sign that they are running out of heavy equipment?
