The Ukrainians have been using US supplied RAAM munitions (Remote Anti-Armour Mine) to great effect. They're launched from US supplied 155mm howitzers. The attacks from tanks and vehicles will also be be closely observed by satellite to identify mine free areas for counter attacks…Russia will get battered here…..
I had to actually check the validity of the tweet as it's an outstanding number, but Wallace was quoted saying this to NATO. It's a massive number.Wallace: 97% of entire Russian army in Ukraine
We're hearing from UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace again now, who is in Brussels for today's Nato meeting on how the military alliance can further help Ukraine.
He begins by discussing Moscow's offensive strategy, saying that Russia has not been able to amass a single force "to punch through" Ukraine's defences. Rather, "we've just seen an effort to advance".
He tells BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "That has come at a huge cost to the Russian army. We now estimate 97% of the Russian army, the whole Russian army, is in Ukraine."

I can only suspect he is referring to 97% of the army committed to the war in Ukraine rather than being in Ukraine, and maybe a % of the original standing army.
Before this, the Russian army (not their entire armed forces) was above 300,000 men, with the surge in mobilisation pushing this figure way, way north of that.
