This is quite possibly the explanation. However it begs the question as to why Russia is targeting cruise missile strikes right on the border with a NATO country.

Extremely provocative and extremely dangerous and I can see Poland as a response pushing forward their AD systems right up to the border with Ukraine and updating the ROE of their gunners and pilots to engage anything hostile upto 70-80km into Ukraine, effectively creating an enforced NATO air exclusion zone over Western Ukraine.

In NATO. No one will overreact but additional arms and anti missile defences will now be ramped up and supplied to Ukraine and on the boarders of NATO countries. Russia will be gone from Ukraine within 6 months……

I sincerely hope you are right , but I'm not sure I trust any of these sensible people to make the right decisions.

If found to be a deliberate attack then NATO’s response will be measured and proportionate.

I very much doubt it was deliberate, even if its proven Russian missile. I mean why would they attack Polish tractor?

Possible explanation as posted in one of the comments on previous side, is that they targeted power station on Ukrainian side and missed, or most likely intercepted missile.

Dangerous game they play though, firing this close to border, sooner or later this would gonna happen

I doubt it was deliberate as the Russian incompetence seems to know no bounds. It will however provide the justification for NATO ramp up to Ukraine…..

Yup, personally I don’t think it was deliberate just extremely reckless. It will only increase tension and probability of a full scale NATO v Russia conflict

Article 4 of the NATO treaty covers the case when a member state feels threatened by another country or a terrorist organization. The 30 member states then start formal consultations at the request of the threatened member.

I'm sure with the Military Intelligence systems on high alert they will have known precisely where these rockets where launched from & what their respective targets where.
If they where Russian they will just keep denying it & blaming anyone else.

Whatever happens this will be a huge turning point in this conflict.
