Oh the humanity, poor things waiting 12 hours to cross a bridge, meanwhile, in Kiev, people are getting murdered taking their kids to school.
Thats what I was thinking a little inconvenience versus losing your existence.Better than 7 months of helI guess
I'm just quoting the Turkish politicians who were there,I wasn't,were you?Well come on then, what amazing terms did Russia offer after invading the Ukraine and killing loads of their people?
I think I missed you posting the quotes, can you link them again please comrade.I'm just quoting the Turkish politicians who were there,I wasn't,were you?
It's a political stunt aimed at his domestic political audience. As long as Ukraine is gaining rather than losing territory on the battlefield, they're not going to sit down for talks anyway. They want to walk into talks when they happen with the strongest possible hand. Agreeing to talks right now signals weakness, which is not something Zelenskyy wants to do.The problem with this is that they aren't being criticized for not accepting "deals" that were never there; they are being criticized for not taking part in negotiations. Zelensky's decree from a few days ago banning himself from negotiating with Putin would have been farcical in less concerning times than these.
I agree that there is plenty of reason to doubt the sincerity of the country that invaded, but to not take part in them is just allowing the Russians to go around saying that they want peace but that the other side isn't negotiating - something that is both absurd and correct.
Nothing is lost by engaging in these talks. They should be engaged with.
Hello mate, can you post a pic of your fridge in the ‘show us your fridge thread’ please?Surely, GOT's military experts will be the first to enrol. They tell us the Russian army is crap so it should be a walk in the park for them.
I wonder how many are tourists that realize having a holiday on the edge of a warzone isn’t the smartest idea and how many are residents leaving.Oh the humanity, poor things waiting 12 hours to cross a bridge, meanwhile, in Kiev, people are getting murdered taking their kids to school.

If progress on the battlefield stalls, he might change his tune.
I doubt that it will as Zelenskyy is going for Gold. Cut off Crimea then the talks begin. This has been poor adulterated carnage for a madman to improve his psyche. It's a political stunt aimed at his domestic political audience. But this really.Well this thread went from some interesting views and people sharing info in to a load of [Poor language removed] didn’t it.
TrUsT Me BrOWell you seemed to know so much about the real story and not the one fed to us by the WeSteRn MeDiA. Sry for asking you to back up something you posted
I think the first will probably be part of any deal.admittedly that info has been passed through multiple sources (so the language may not have been what was used) but that is a really strange distinction made between Crimea and the other four oblasts - almost as if the "deal" would be:
the world recognizes Crimea as part of Russia
some form of permanent neutrality for Ukraine
Ukraine recognizes Russian control of the four oblasts (or what they occupy in the four oblasts, that still isnt clear) but everyone else doesn't
