It gets messy.

IMO, no one lets Putin push the button, so if he tries he's done. I don't think that enough demand for his removal exists short of that, in light of the risks of a coup.

I also would have told you that Gorbachev wasn't going anywhere in 1991 and that you could take that one to the bank, so it's your call on how large a grain of salt you want to take that one with.
Quite the power vacuum to fill if he goes. Most of the genuine choices to take over from him are either dead or in prison, so I guess we hope and pray that another lunatic hardliner doesn’t take his place

From the same fellas feed. It is criminal what Putin is willing to do to so called fellow Russians.

Soldiers and alcohol abuse isn't uncommon in most armies, let alone a country that loves drinking lots of hard spirits. It'll be used to keep them going.

There were relatively common examples in the past of British troops sucking out the contents of alcohol wipes and using solvents and whatnot.

I'm more interested in your admiration of Herr Klopp, but that's for another discussion on another part of the forum.?
I don't admire Herr Klopp, but I will confess that I find him entertaining. The caught-on-camera conversation where Ibra trots up mid-interview and asks when Klopp is bringing him to Dortmund is among the best footy-related content I have seen.

I always liked him when he was at Dortmund, and I will freely admit that I lack the antipathy to the RS of a born-and-bred blue native of Liverpool. I have learned to  loathe the RS on the basis of their history and actions, but this is not the same as being raised with those attitudes.

Alcohol is bad for health... Especially if you go out to shoot with a flag… it seems to be funny until they start shooting from the other side, mother of God the heads.

?

I always love the little differences that result from my literal translations ("alcohol is bad for the health") and how people actually translate.

My fear is that it'll need a bigger monster to get rid if the current monster.
So the odd thing about this one, in political terms, is that you don't necessarily have to be a bigger monster if the existing one is big enough.

One (entertaining?) way to look at it is that any given political system returns an ideal point on the monster scale for its leaders, and that if the present monster is way outside the norm then regression to the mean is probable when it comes time to choose a successor. Debatably, said regression is more or less certain because of how human beings work.

Your post doesn't really back that up,but as I said, for another place on the forum at another time.?
