I appreciate the effort, though. If you ever grow up and teach a subject, what you will learn is that you don't truly understand a subject until you have to teach it to others. It turns out that the most pig-headed of pupils are the ones who stretch communication abilities the most, as they require the clearest of communication. The real dunce pupils are a blessing rather than a curse as a consequence.

Sometimes, though, I have been compelled to concede that a failure in communication isn't a 'me' problem. Obviously, you require a better  sensei on this topic than me, as I have pitched my best stuff and been found wanting.

I don't care,it's the internet. And where have I accused anyone of plagiarism, cutting and pasting the work of others is just the day to day of social media. My standpoint on this thread has been consistent,the US using Nato and the EU are doing a good job of repairing a post Covid economy. Sadly innocent women and children are paying the ultimate price.

As the accused, I happen to know that your accusations of plagiarism are wholly baseless in this particular case. You have not backed them up, which reveals you to be the sort of person who would literally say anything in order to protect your fragile ego.

So there's this thing called an analogy. There are a great many things that I do not happen to be an expert in, because I do not have an infinite amount of time on this earth and my interests are limited.

I appreciate the opportunity to attempt to teach you, as it compelled me to elevate my teaching game a bit. I am now in possession of higher quality answers to questions than I was before, so the attempt made me better off. However, there are attitudes that I cannot work with in students, and you happen to be in possession of one.

So, thank you for making the next person I have to try to explain this one to better off, and good luck to you as you try to find some answers in this life.

Now that is some next-level Internet profile digging. The joke there is that the game in question requires some absurd levels of micro, which would never be tolerated in a strategy game published today. It's a brilliant game in terms of design otherwise.

Hence, "real men play SMAC" in the sense that they will put up with the micro in order to play a strategy game with depth otherwise not available in today's games.

It gets messy.

IMO, no one lets Putin push the button, so if he tries he's done. I don't think that enough demand for his removal exists short of that, in light of the risks of a coup.

I also would have told you that Gorbachev wasn't going anywhere in 1991 and that you could take that one to the bank, so it's your call on how large a grain of salt you want to take that one with.

If we could get the exploding cigar in place, we probably would. Getting to Putin via vices requiring poisoning wine before it gets into the bottle, which is harder. Seeing how we failed to explode Castro via a cigar, I'm not optimistic regarding our capabilities on this one.
